Juniper Takes Home 2 Interior Design’s “BEST OF YEAR” Awards

Let’s face it, while it feels nice to get noticed, awards only mean as much as the people who give them to you.

Which is precisely why Eric Brand is so honored to have been chosen among 2,300 submissions to win not just one, but two awards at the 2017 Interior Design Best of Year for his Juniper collection. Now celebrating its 12th year, Best of Year (nicknamed BoY) has become the ultimate measure of excellence by showcasing what’s cutting-edge today while also pushing the envelope for tomorrow.

Juniper won best:

  • FURNITURE: RESIDENTIAL/STORAGE
  • SEATING: RESIDENTIAL/LOUNGE

For over 80 years Interior Design magazine has been the essential design authority for every architecture and design professional the world over. As a result, BoY celebrates the most significant work of the year by recognizing designers, architects and manufacturers from around the globe.

Over 1,000 design professionals and enthusiasts from Mexico, Poland, Brazil, China, Israel, and more joined Interior Design on December 1st at the IAC building in New York to honor the world’s outstanding projects and products in 113 design categories.

Juniper and the other winners were announced live by Cindy Allen (Editor in Chief), and Carol Cisco (Publisher) and presented with the coveted Best of Year bulb award, designed by renowned designer Harry Allen. Additionally, winners were featured in an online gallery on InteriorDesign.net and promoted across the publication’s digital channels.

Inspired by the strength and beauty of the human body, Juniper is reminiscent of the Art Deco movement in Paris and pays homage to timeless materials, techniques and silhouettes. Named after the fog-licked Juniper trees on the hills of San Francisco, Juniper is furniture brought to life through quality materials and expert craftsmanship.

It’s one thing to be inspired and see your creative vision come to life, but it’s another thing altogether to be acknowledged by the finest minds working in your industry. For everyone on the Juniper team who has helped bring this bold new collection to life, Eric would like to extend a heartfelt thank you – and to remind everyone with a creative vision to stay inspired. The world needs designers, artists and creativity now more than ever.
